Inconel General Description:
Nickel chromium alloys. The twelve or so different Inconel® alloys have good resistance to oxidation, reducing environments, corrosive environments, high temperature environments, cryogenic temperature, relaxation resistance and good mechanical properties.
Different Inconels have widely varying compositions, but all are predominantly nickel, with chromium as the second element.
